This is deep black liquid extract of licorice having glycyrrhizic acid 16 to 18%. It has wood taste and the smell is typical of licorice aka liquorice. The method of analysis is HPLC. The solvents/basis is water. Dry material is 40 to 44% pH (solution 1% P/V) is 7 to 7.9. Ashes is under 3% and total sugar is less than or equal to 5%.

This is the fine brown strong atomized licorice powder with glycyrrhizic acid 26% to 32%. Gums and starch is 15% to 25%. Water solubility and water+ethanol solubility are both greater than 500gL. It has 3 years shelf life. Dry material is > 90% pH (solution 1% P/V) is 5 to 7. HPLC is method of analysis.

Dry material is > 90% pH (solution 1% P/V) is 6 to 8. Saccharose is less than 15%. Total sugar is 45% to 50%.The method of analysis is HPLC.

Ammonium Glycyrrhizinate Assay 98% to 102% Dry Basis

This is white or yellowish white, hygroscopic powder. It is very slightly soluble in ethanol and slightly soluble in water. The assay is 98% to 102% dry basis. Heavy metals are less than 20ppm. Salmonella and E. coli are negative. The shelf life is 3 years.
